Aspirants seeking admission to 5.5 year Full-time MBBS Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.
Academic Requirement:
Candidates must have passed H.S.C ( 2) examination/equivalent examination and obtained a minimum of 50% of marks (in case of SC/ST & OBC 40%) taking together Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Botany & Zoology) and a pass in English.

Which is better for MBBS - Dr. DY Patil Medical College Pune, SRMC (SRU) Chennai or KS Hegde (affiliated to NITTE University) Mangalore?
If the fees are not your major consideration, then according to the patient load, SRMC and DY Patil are much better than KS Hegde. Though the curriculum and training provided to the students are a lot better in KS Hegde.
The one thing that should matter most is graduating successfully with an MBBS degree. Patient load is not the primary concern until post graduation.
