Yes, NIT Trichy, Warangal, and Surathkal are better options for MTech than IIT Patna because of their superior location. The placement scenario at any institute is directly proportional to its location and proximity to tech hubs.
A location imparts better industry exposure that forms the foundation for any tech college. Consider the location as the primary factor while choosing your college. The reason I said NITs are better than IIT Patna today is because of their location and the quality of recruiters they attract as a result.
IIT Patna is a great institute but lacks the recognition yet and thus most recruiters don't visit it. So, look beyond the IIT tag a make a wise decision.
NIT Trichy is leading in terms of infrastructure, quality education, experienced scholars, and ranking. NIT Suratkal and NIT Warangal also have the best campus life and experienced faculties. You won’t be disappointed in choosing any NIT for MTech in CSE since this branch is trending and career-oriented. So you can opt for any of the NITs based on your preferences
