Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) Admission 2024: Courses, Fees, Eligibility, Dates, Registration

RTU offers B.Tech. under the following 22 specializations for a duration of four years-

Admission to the B.Tech. programs are carried out through REAP.

Rajasthan Technical University B.Tech. Selection Criteria

Admission to the B.Tech. program is based on the marks secured by the candidate in the 10+2 qualifying exam followed by REAP counseling but preference will be given to those who have applied on the basis of the JEE Main score.

Rajasthan Technical University B.Tech. Registration Process

Application form for both the courses can be filled online by following the below-listed steps:

• Visit the official portal of REAP and fill the application form.
• Pay the application fee of INR. 750/- through e-Mitra Kiosk or online payment via credit card/debit card or net banking.
• For the selected e-Mitra Kiosk, the candidate must take a printout of the generated invoice of INR. 750/- and pay the amount at the nearest e-Mitra Kiosk. Once the fee is deposited, the candidate will be provided a 12 or 16-digit code which will be required to log in again for the application confirmation process.
• In case of online payment, once the payment is completed, the candidate will receive an alphanumeric code which must be retained for later use.
• Upload a recent passport photograph (100 KB) and signature (50 KB) in JPG format.
• Final admission is subject to choice locking and allotment of seats at the time of counseling.

Note: Students must note that they have to bring all the desired documents (Two self-attested copies along with originals) at the time of final admission.

Aside from B.Tech. the institute offers a B.Arch. and BHMCT degree at the UG level. 

Rajasthan Technical University UG Eligibility & Selection Criteria

RTU offers M.Tech. under the following disciplines for a duration of 2 years.

M.Arch. is offered under the specialization of - Urban Design for a duration of two years.

Rajasthan Technical University M.Tech. & M.Arch. Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must possess a BE/B.Tech. or an M.Sc. degree in a relevant field to be eligible to apply for M.Tech while a B.Arch degree is mandatory for admission to M.Arch. 
• Candidates must possess a valid GATE score.

Rajasthan Technical University M.Tech. & M.Arch. Selection Criteria

Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their marks in the qualifying degree for the RTU CAM process. For M.Tech, GATE qualified candidates can also apply for the RTU CAM process. Note- Candidates can participate in CAM on the basis of their marks in BE/B.Tech. Use the

Apart from the M.Tech. and M.Arch. programs, the institute also offers an MBA and MCA program for a duration of two years.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess a graduation degree in any stream with an average minimum score of 50% (45% marks for SC/ST).

Selection Criteria

Admission to the MBA program will be done on the basis of the candidate’s performance in RMAT. Admission to the MCA program will be done on the basis of RMCAAT.

At the doctoral level, RTU offers a Ph.D. program under the following disciplines-

• Engineering
• Management
• Computer Applications

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for admission to the Ph.D. programs, the candidates must have completed post-graduation in the respective or related field with 55% marks (50% for reserved categories)

Selection Criteria

Students can also apply for the Ph.D. program at the doctoral level on the basis of their performance in RTU DAT conducted by the university followed by an interview.

To apply for admission to any of the courses at RTU, the candidates must visit the official website of the university.

• Register at the official website of RTU.
• Applicants need to fill the personal information like name, age, Date of Birth, qualification details, etc. and register themselves.
• Those who register successfully will receive user id and password which must be used to log in for completing the application form.
• In the application form, enter particulars related to Personal Details, Academic Details, and Contact Details. Submit once done.
• After completing the application form, students need to make the fee payment of amount INR. 1000/-
• Application fees can be paid through online mode using Debit/ Credit card or through Demand Draft
• Submit your form.
