Mewar University offers a full-time Ph. D. program in various departments. The University offers its Doctoral students advanced research training, expert supervision to support progression till the final submission of thesis, and top-quality research facilities.

  • The minimum period of Mewar University Ph.D. program shall be of minimum six semesters, and maximum ten semesters. The University actively follows UGC-mandated norms as well as internationally acknowledged standards.
  • The University offers Ph. D. degree in almost 10 departments which are Management, Computer Science and System Studies, Legal Studies, Education and Psychology, Engineering and Technology, Science and Technology, Humanities, Social Science & Fine Arts, Agriculture and Veterinary Science, Mass & Media Communication and Alternative Therapy.
  • The candidate shall have passed the Post Graduate Degree examination in relevant discipline with minimum 55% or equivalent grades.
  • The Candidate must have qualified the Ph.D. Entrance Exam Test.

Mewar University, Chittorgarh Ph.D. Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be qualified with one of the following:

  • A Candidate intending to enrol himself/herself for the Ph.D. Degree must be a post – graduate degree holder from a recognized university.
  • The candidate shall have passed the Post Graduate Degree examination in relevant discipline with minimum 55% or equivalent grades .
  • Candidates qualified as CA, ICWA, CS and CFA.
  • The Candidate must have qualified the Ph.D. Entrance Exam Test.

Mewar University, Chittorgarh Ph.D. Admission 

  • The Application submitted by all the potential candidates along with two copies of the synopsis on the chosen research topic will be first screened. 
  • The Candidates who will be selected on the basis of merit and research synopsis are only eligible for the admission and are required to appear at the Entrance Test.
  • The University will notify the schedule of examination to the eligible Candidates.
  • The Candidates who qualify the Entrance Test will be then invited to the University for Interview and One-to-One Discussion.
  • The candidates will be notified in advance with the number of seats available in each Faculty/ Department/College.
  • The Candidate who qualifies Interview and One-to-One Discussion will be able to register for any Department he/she wants.
  • The Candidates who are appearing before RDC shall follow the steps according to the University Guidelines.

  • Candidates must click on Admission Form (PG Programs)
  • The form must be thoroughly filled and the candidate shall pay the application fees online through online payment method (Debit Card or Credit Card).
  • The Candidates are also required to upload the relevant documents mentioned in the form.
  • Click Submit after re-checking that all the documents are correct. 
  • Download the application form.

  • Candidates seeking admission can obtain the application form from the designated centres or University Campus at Chittorgarh.
  • The form must be thoroughly filled and the application fees shall be paid through Demand draft or Cash Deposit.
