Mewar University is an autonomous body set up by the Government of Rajasthan. Mewar University is promoted by the Mewar Education Society (MES). The university has three campuses, namely, Chittorgarh, Ghaziabad & Hyderabad.

Mewar University offers degree, diploma and certificate programs to aspirants at the undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG), and doctorate (PhD) levels. Programs offered at Mewar University are in the disciplines of Engineering, Business & Management Studies, Accounting & Commerce, Science, IT & Software, Mass Communication & Media, Medicine & Health Sciences, Law, and Teaching & Education.

Admission to all its UG courses on the basis of the marks obtained in MUEE (Mewar University Entrance Exam), an Entrance test conducted by the University.
For B.tech admissions, Admissions will be granted not the basis of Uni Gauge Entrance Exam.
Admission to PG courses is granted on the basis of merit. Exception being MBA, where admission is granted on the basis of score obtained in MU-MAT/CAT/ RMAT or any other management aptitude test.
Candidates can apply online with required information on university official website.
The University accepts valid score of state level and national level entrance exams for various courses offered.
On the basis of performance in MUEE, a merit list will be prepared indicating all India Rank with total marks.

Mewar University Entrance Exam (MUEE) is a state level entrance exam held for admission in UG courses which will be conducted in June .Final Admissions are purely on the counselling and merit based.

The University offers two routes to the award of Doctoral degrees:

Ph.D (Doctoral Programme)
PGRI (Post Graduate Integrated Research Programme)

Both are aimed to award Doctoral degrees; however, the difference is that the Ph.D is for those who have already completed their Master’s degree, whereas PGRI is meant for those who have not yet received a Master’s degree.
