Indian Institute of Management - [IIMU], Udaipur - Scholarship Details

Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Udaipur offers various scholarships to the students enrolled in its two-year MBA program based on their merit, financial need, and category. MBA Students at IIM Udaipur are eligible to apply for different scholarships offered by the Government of India and Rajasthan based on their merit and economic background. Apart from that, IIM Udaipur and The Hans Foundation (THF) have partnered to offer scholarships to first-year female students enrolled in MBA in 2024. 

IIM Udaipur also offers financial assistance to students with annual household income below INR 4.5 LPA. The financial assistance is granted in the form of tuition fee waivers and the amount will be determined depending on the needs of the students. The institute also provides ample financial support to Ph.D. students to sustain their living and research expenses and also funds international exposure during the program apart from the full fellowship that covers the fees and accommodation. 

IIM Udaipur MBA Scholarship

MBA Students at IIM Udaipur are eligible to apply for the various merit-based and category-based scholarships offered by the Government of India and the Government of Rajasthan (for Rajasthan Students only). The details about all these scholarships are as follows:

Apart from these scholarships, IIM Udaipur has also partnered up with The Hans Foundation (THF) to offer scholarships to first-year female students in its MBA program for the year 2024 as well. 

IIM Udaipur MBA Financial Assistance

IIM Udaipur extends financial assistance to students who need more finance to pursue their MBA. Students with an annual household income below INR 4,50,000 are eligible to apply for financial assistance at IIM Udaipur. It can also be availed by other students who are facing severe financial difficulties.

IIM Udaipur offers financial assistance in the form of tuition fee waivers for MBA whose amount is determined depending on the assessment of the needs and requirements of the students. Candidates can also seek loans through major banks to cover most of the tuition fees of IIM Udaipur MBA.

IIM Udaipur Ph.D. Financial Assistance

IIM Udaipur offers a full fellowship to Ph.D. students that covers tuition fees, accommodation charges, other program expenses, and a stipend for a living allowance. The institute also funds international exposure programs for the students as well. 

The various forms of financial assistance provided for Ph.D. at IIM Udaipur are:

• Accommodation: Ph.D. Students at IIM Udaipur will be offered single accommodation free of charge. 
• Monthly Stipend: Students will receive a monthly stipend of INR 37,000 for the first two years, INR 40,000 on clearing the comprehensive exam, and INR 44,000 after proposal defense.
• Laptop/ PC Allowance: The students will also be provided a one-time allowance of up to INR 50,000 to purchase a Laptop/PC.
• Contingency Grant: They will also be liable for a contingency grant of INR 50,000 to purchase books, research materials, hardware, software, stationery, etc. in the first year and INR 25,000 from the second year onwards until the end of the fifth year. 
• Research Funds: Ph.D. students are also eligible for research funds up to INR 1,50,000 for conducting their dissertation-related research.
• National & International Conference Funding: Students will also be eligible for a grant of INR 20,000 per annum to attend national conferences/seminars, and a total of INR 2,00,000 for four years to attend international conferences/seminars (outside India) subject to the acceptance of their research papers.

IIM Udaipur Ph.D. Semester Abroad Program 

The Ph.D. Semester Abroad Program is a unique offering in IIM Udaipur that is not currently available at any other IIM. IIM Udaipur will fund an international immersion for up to two students in a year based on their merit enabling them to spend four months at an esteemed university abroad. The program will cover up the travel costs, living expenses, medical insurance, and contingencies for the period.
