The Ph.D. Eligibility Test will be only a qualifying examination/step for participating in the counseling for admission, and the other conditions for Ph.D. admission will be as per the prevailing Ordinances of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar for its Ph.D. Programmes. Mere qualifying in the Ph.D. eligibility test does not ensure admission to Ph.D. The syllabus for the Ph.D. eligibility test for admission to Ph.D. Programme will be the same as prescribed for UGC-NET conducted by respective regulatory bodies.
