About KNC

Kamla Nehru College for Women has been awarded 'A++' Grade by NAAC and received “College with Potential and Excellence” status by UGC. It is the only girl’s college in the town of Phagwara with an enrollment of more than 2000 girls. The college offers a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma courses. Admission to the courses is done on the basis of merit scored in last qualifying examination.

About Kamla Nehru College

Kamla Nehru College for Women was established in 1965 and located in Phagwara. It was established by a team of educationists who wished to contribute towards the development of women in the state. Initially KNC was also known as the Phagwara College for Women.
