The GADVASU offers admissions to eligible students to B.Tech courses in 2 specializations. The details for the same are:

The two specializations offered by the college are:

• Dairy Technology
• Biotechnology

GADVASU B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• The candidates interested to take admission in B.tech courses offered by GADVASU must have a 10+2 passing certificate.
• Those belonging to medical and non-medical streams can apply for the courses.

GADVASU B.Tech Selection Process

• The selection of the candidates is based on the merit of the candidates. Those who have Mathematics as a compulsory subject in 10+2 exams will be given priority.
• Vacant seats will be filled by the rest of the students as per their selection.

At GADVASU, students can have access to the M.Tech program only if they acquire a bachelor’s degree in Technology. The details for the course are as follows:

GADVASU M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech. (Dairy Technology)/Food Engineering/ Agricultural Engineering/Food Technology (4-year degree)/B.Sc. (Food Technology)(4-year degree) or equivalent degree with minimum OCPA of 6.00 (out of 10.00) or at least 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized institute.

GADVASU M.Tech Selection Criteria

The selection of the candidates for admission to the M.Tech programs is purely based on the candidate’s merit. Those who meet the eligibility criteria will be able to seek admission in the course if their names appear in the merit list.

PG Admissions to Inservice Candidates

The minimum requirement for admission to any of the PG courses for an in-service candidate in any of the constituent colleges of GADVASU is an Overall Grade Point Average (OGPA) of 5.50 (out of 10.00), along with the minimum of two years of professional work experience (post the graduation). 

Candidates can seek admission for any of the M V Sc / M Sc / M Tech programs, on the basis of the qualifying degree they had in their graduation.

PhD Admissions to Inservice Candidates

Similarly, the minimum requirement for admission to PhD program for an in-service candidate in any of the constituent college of GADVASU is candidate must be an employee of a University or National Institute or Punjab government or UT of Chandigarh or Central government, with a minimum of five years of professional Teaching / Research experience in the relevant field. 

Candidates can seek admission for any of the M V Sc / M Sc / M Tech programs, on the basis of the qualifying degree they had in their graduation.
