Utkal University Bhubaneswar M.Tech Information Technology: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Candidates must apply for admission by filling and submitting completed application form before 7 June 2016. The   application form may be collected from the Office the Chairman, PG Council or from the Office of the Heads of the Department on payment of Rs. 600/- at the university cash counter.

The candidates can also obtain the application form from university website. All fields in the application form should be correctly and completely filled-in with the relevant information.

Important steps for filling in the application form:

• Fill the application form with the necessary information.
• Enclose the application form with the important documents (e-reciept/DD / BC of Rs. 600 in favour of Administrative Office, P. G. Teaching Departments, Utkal University payable at any nationalized bank of Bhubaneswar in case of downloaded application)

• Candidate must keep the Xerox copy of the completed applications for subsequent use

The candidate must submit the photo affixed and duly signed application and the following copies of following documents.

1. Mark sheets and Certificates of all examinations.
2. C.L.C. and Conduct Certificate from the institution last attended.
3. SC/ST Certificate from the competent authority (MP / MLA / Collector / ADM / SDO / Local Gazetted Revenue Officer not below the rank of Deputy Collector or Tahasildar) by candidates of those categories.
4. PH certificate physically challenged students and ID card issued by District Welfare Officer / Community Development Officer / Social Welfare Department of State Government) by the physically challenged candidates.
5. Sports and Games Certificate of participation are required for quota and special weightage consideration, from the competent Authority (Director of Sports / Sports Council of the Utkal University) countersigned by the Principal / HOD of the college / department by the candidates interested to apply under the said category.
6. Certificate shall be produced from the Rajya / Zilla Sainik Board by the applicants interested to apply under Ex/In-service quota.
7. Original application fee e-receipt.
8. Three passport size photographs (one to be fixed in the application form and two more copies to be attached with the form).
9. Migration Certificate, if the candidate is not from Utkal University.

Important note:

APPLICATION FEE FOR PG course is: Rs. 600/-

In case of sponsored IMCA/M.Tech (CS) candidate is required to submit two bank drafts

• Rs. 150/- drawn in favour of “comptroller of finance”UU payable at any nationalized bank located at Bhubaneswar.
• Rs. 350/- drawn in favour of “Director, school of Mathematics, statistics And CS, UU” UU payable at any nationalized bank located at Bhubaneswar.

Aspirants seeking admission to 2 year Full-time Master of Technology [M.Tech] should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement:

Candidate should have (a) Master’s Degree in Computer Science / IT/ Computer Application Mathematics / Statistics / Electronics / Physics or (b) Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology (BE / B. Tech.) or (c) AMIE examination / B level examination of DOEACC with at least 55% of marks (50% marks for SC/ST candidates) in the qualifying examination. e) Selection Procedures: Entrance test. (100%).
