U will get stipend if u clear some scholarship .best opportunities they gave .have a best luck .job opportunities are also good
Faculty is very good and friendly, teacher are very well educated and help us.
One of the thing which i liked most here is world class central library, it's really beautiful, you will definitely fall in love with study here

Dislikes

In terms of faculty, some have remarkable skills and teaching approaches but there are also very poor graded arrogant teachers, so choose your section wisely.
No of company visits for mca is less as compare to btech.the no of companies 10 to 20.all have same oppertunities for placxement.but for grab placement hard work is your.
Hostel facility is very bad ,wardens dont co operate ,always creating problems food quality is worst ,recently some students got jaundice and hepatitis from mess food in a particular hostel around 50 students hospitalized

Likes

faculty is great , they know their work properly.
Teaching methods of the faculty are practical, they all use case studies and latest trends to explain things to students in their language and the classes are all interactive and the faculty is also really good
Campus is green and big, Good teaching staff

Dislikes

teachers are late , some times they even not attended
hostel is not so clean and washed , gallary is not great
parking system of the college is not proper .

Various opportunities for career advancement like from MyCaptain and other platforms like these keep showing up, even TEDx event was held in the college recently and the seniors were also very helpful and frank with the first years

Here is a review of KIIT University based on the experience of a close friend who is now an alumnus of the institute

Pros

The institute offers a vibrant and happening campus life filled with fun activities.
The institute gives extra attention to extracurricular activities and has a plethora of platforms through which one can pursue their passion.
The accommodation facilities are decent and the hostel rooms are spacious. Hygiene is maintained
The institute has excellent infrastructural facilities like a gym and swimming pool that charge money.

Cons

KIIT fees are high and not everyone can afford it. This year the annual fees stood at ?3.5 Lakhs
The faculty pool has average professors and very few are highly experienced.
The institute also faces issues due to the huge batch size.
The research culture and the lab sessions are poor and need to be worked on.
The curfew for girls' hostels is another big concern here. The girls are expected to be inside the hostel by 7 30.
Placements are decent considering the huge fees you have paid. There are several mass recruiters so getting placed won’t be a major problem.

In all, KIIT is a good choice if you have no financial constraints and want to live a luxurious campus life.
