University of Science and Technology (USTM) Meghalaya offers UG, PG, and Diploma courses. It also offers Ph.D in 17 specializations. Under UG domain, it offers BA, B.Sc., B. Com (H), BBA, BCA, LLB, BA LLB, B. Ed programmes. Under PG domain, it offers MA, M. com, M.Sc., MBA, MCA, MLISc., and MSW. The University offers Diploma courses as well.

- For MBA, the candidate has to appear in Entrance Exam (USTM-CAT) along with PI and GD.
- Candidates having a valid scorecard of XAT / MAT/ CMAT / CAT can directly appear in PI and GD for MBA admission.
- For BPT, B. Pharm, B.Ed, BA LLB candidate will get admission on the basis of Entrance Test conducted by the University.
- The University conducts its own Entrance Test along with Personal Interview for candidates who wish to get admission in Ph.D course.
- Candidates can fill the application form either offline or online.
USTM was established in 2008 as a private state university located in Meghalaya. It is recognised by UGC and AICTE.

- For M.Sc. in Environmental Science, candidate must have done Graduation in Botany, Environmental Sciences, Zoology, Anthropology, Chemistry, Environmental Studies, Geography, and Geology
- For M.Sc. in Geography, candidate must have done Graduation in Geography or similar subjects
- For M.Sc. in Physics, candidate must have done Graduation in Physics
- For M.Sc. in Mathematics, candidates must have done graduation in B. Sc. with Maths/ Physics/ Statistics/ Chemistry as major subjects. The candidate must have taken any 2 subsidiary subjects from the following; Biotechnology, Zoology, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Maths, Statistics

Offline
- Candidate who wants to get admission in this University can get the form from the University Counter at USTM, Meghalaya; Techno City, USTM, Kling Road, Baridua, 9th Mile, Meghalaya by paying a cash of INR 700/- and INR 1000/- in case of MBA
- Candidate can also download the form from the University website and submit it by paying the fees as mentioned above
- Candidates can also get the form through post simply by sending DD in favour of University of Science & Technology, Meghalaya” payable at Guwahati.
- For UG and PG courses, candidates need to pay INR 775, INR 1075 in case of MBA programme and INR 1575 in case of Ph.D.
- Finally submit the form.
