Dr. DY Patil University Navi Mumbai Admission 2024: Application Forms, Eligibility, Dates, Selection Process, Courses, Registration

DY Patil University offers B.E. / B.tech, B.Arch and lateral entry BE courses in its own campus and through constituent colleges. Minimum eligibility for admission to all UG courses is passing HSC with minimum 50 % marks. For lateral entry courses in BE, candidates applying should have passed 3 Year Diploma Course in concerned subject with at least 60% marks.

Admission to B.tech and B.Arch courses is given on the basis of JEE Main/ MHT – CET and NATA respectively:

• For lateral entry courses candidate should have obtained a non- zero score in subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics added together at MHT-CET  or have a valid JEE Main Score.
• Relaxation of 5% is given to reserved category candidates in the qualifying exam criteria.
• Counseling for admission to BE, lateral entry courses is done by DTE, Maharashtra.

Candidates applying for admission to MBBS, BAMS, BPT and BDS courses should have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually with at least 50% marks.

MBBS candidates should also have to undergo one year of compulsory rotating internship. Six months internship is compulsory for BPT course.

Valid NEET UG score card is required for selection to MBBS, BAMS, BPT and BDS courses.

• Candidates applying for UG courses must be either 17 years of age or must be attaining this age as on December.
• For SC/ST candidates 5% relaxation is provided in eligibility criteria.
• Total seats in BPT course is 120.

Dr DY Patil University offers three year BBA and Bachelor of Sports and Exercise Sciences course at UG level. BSES is a Full Time, graduate Program Study of Exercise Sciences. Minimum eligibility for admission to BBA courses is HSC with at least 45% marks.

Applicant for BSES course must have done HSC with PCB/PCM/PCMB subject combination with at least 50% marks. Admission to BBA courses is on the basis of entrace exam conducted by University followed by interview.

Selection to BSES is direct and is on the basis of qualifying exam.

• In BBA in Hospital Administration preference will be given to candidates who have passed HSC with Biology as a subject.

The University provides ME degree course in four disciplines and M.tech course in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics. Additionally the institute also offers two year M.Arch course in Architecture and M.Sc in four disciplines.

Candidates applying to these courses should have done graduation in the concerned discipline. Admission to ME degree course is on the basis of GATE entrance exam conducted by IITs.

For M.tech and M.Sc and courses candidates are selected on the basis of entrance test conducted by the University. Selection to Master in Architecture course is done considering candidate’s performance in MAH  M.Arch- CET conducted by DTE, Maharashtra.

MAH – M.Arch –CET is an online exam of 60 minutes duration. The exam consists of total 50 MCQs for 100 marks. 10 questions each are asked from Building Technology, Environment, Architecture, History and Humanities, Settlement Design and Planning and current Architecture Practices.

• Candidates who are due to appear in the final semester  of the qualifying exam are also eligible for appearing in the entrance test provided they have secured 50% or equivalent grade in previous semesters.
• 5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates in eligibility criteria is given.
• 15% seats are filled at All India level and 20% seats of total intake are filled through Management Quota.

DY Patil University offers MD, MS, MDS courses at PG level in various disciplines. Minimum eligibility for MD ad MS is MBBS course from a MCI recognized institute with a compulsory one year Rotatory internship.

Aspirants for MDS courses should have passed BDS with 50% marks. Selections to PG courses are done on the basis of NEET PG.        

For Ayurveda courses candidates applying should have passed BAMS with at least 50% marks.

• Spot admission for Medical and Dental PG courses will be held on May.

DY Patil University offers MBA in fifteen different disciplines. MBA program is also offered at Part time level. Minimum qualification for applying to MBA program is graduation in any discipline with at least 50 % marks.

Valid score card of any of CAT/ CMAT/ MAH CET is required for admission. For candidates not having this score card the University conducts its own entrance test.

Final selection is on the basis of GD and Interview.

• For Part time MBA program candidate must have 2 years of work experience in supervisory position.
• For MBA in Pharmaceutical Industry, Health and Hospital and Biotechnology preference will be given to graduates in B.Sc/ B.tech/ BAMS/ BUMS/ B.Nursing/ MBBS.

DY Patil University offers B.Sc and M.Sc courses under allied Health Sciences. B.Sc in allied health Sciences is of three years duration and M.Sc course is of two year duration. Candidates applying should have done HSC in PCM/B subjects with English as a compulsory subject.

Admission to all the courses of allied Sciences, are on the basis of qualifying examination.

Application form for all the courses is to be filled online through college website.

• For SC/ST candidates 5% relaxation is provided in eligibility criteria.
• Compulsory internship of 6 months for B.Sc in Optometry.

Dr DY Patil University offers 4 year Basic Nursing course, 3 year Post basic Nursing course and 2 years M.Sc course in Nursing. For Basic and Post Basic nursing course candidate should have done HSC in PCM/B subjects and for M.Sc in nursing applicant should have done basic nursing course with minimum of 55% aggregate marks.

The NAIE  for Basic Nursing course will be of two hours duration. The Entrance Test contained 150 Multiple Choice Questions, 40 each of Physics,

Chemistry & Biology & 15 questions each in English & General knowledge.

NAIET for Post Basic Nursing will also have 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). It will include questions on English, General knowledge and all the nursing subjects included in General Nursing & Midwifery.

Long answer questions.andShort answer questions which includes two hours duration will be of NAIET for M.Sc

• The candidate of Basic nursing must be either of 17 years of age or attain this age on December.
• For Post basic Nursing and M.Sc course candidate should have obtained a certificate in General nursing and Midwifery and registered as R.N.R.M. with the State Nurses Registration Council.
• 5% relaxation of marks for SC/ST candidates may be given.

Admission to B.Ed and MA in the field of Education is also part of the academic offering by DY Patil University. For B.Ed course candidates should have done graduation in any discipline and for MA course candidates should have done B.Ed along with a graduate degree.

Selection to B.Ed program is on the basis of University exam.

Dr DY Patil University offers B.Sc at UG level, M.Sc at PG level, PG diploma and Certificate course in four disciplines. For UG and diploma course candidates should have passed HSC, and for M.Sc course candidates should have done graduation in any discipline.

Minimum eligibility for certificate courses is that applicant should have passed SSC.

Admission to all the courses under Hospitality and Tourism is on the basis of qualifying exam.

• B.Sc course is of 3 years duration, M.Sc and Diploma is of 2 years duration and Certificate courses are of 6 months duration.

The University offers Polytechnic course in four engineering disciplines. Candidates applying to Polytechnic courses (three year duration) should have passed tenth class with science subjects.

Counseling for admission to Polytechnic courses is done by DTE, Maharashtra.

For Maharashtra state seats candidates should have passed Standard VIII, IX and SSC from a recognized institution in Maharashtra State.

The merit list of the eligible candidates for selection process shall be prepared on the basis of percentage of aggregate marks obtained at SSC.

Minimum eligibility for admission to M.Ch and DM courses is that a candidate should have passed degree of M.S. /MS or its equivalent in the relevant discipline.

For 3 year PhD course and one year M.Phil course candidates should have done Master’s in the concerned discipline.

In order to eligible for admission to M.Ch and DM, candidate should have permanent registration with Medical Council of India.

Selections to DM and M.Ch will be made on the basis of valid rank obtained in National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test – Super Specialty (NEET-SS).

• M.Ch and DM programs are of 3 years duration.
