Admissions to DY Patil University School of Ayurveda is done based on the NEET score. If the candidate acquires the eligible score in the NEET examination then he or she can apply to the school by either filling the application form online or by applying directly (offline) at the Ayurveda school. The candidates can register themselves for counseling online. For admission in PG courses, the admission is done on the basis of NEET PG.
DY Patil School of Ayurveda provides an internship of 1 year for the students. The students must serve 6 months internship in the hospital in the college and must serve 6 months internship in Government hospitals in various rural and urban areas. In this period of 1 year, the students attain enough training and are eligible to serve in hospitals after the completion of the internship.

DY Patil University School of Ayurveda consists of 70 teaching faculties in 14 different departments. In addition to that 40 non-teaching staffs like a lab technician, lab assistant, museum keeper, cashier, accountant, peon, lifter, etc are also present in the Ayurveda school. Then 44 hospital staffs are present in the ayurvedic hospital in the school of Ayurveda.
