Mahatma Gandhi Mission Institute of Health Sciences offers MBBS course of 5 ½ years duration with the intake of 150 students.

Admission is given to those students who have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as compulsory subjects with minimum 50% marks in PCB from a recognized Board.

Candidates are shortlisted for the course on the basis of their merit in NEET-I & II or MGM-UG-CET entrance examination conducted by the university.

Mahatma Gandhi Mission Institute of Health Sciences offers B.Sc. in Nursing course of 4-years duration with the intake 50 students, B.Sc. in Paramedical course of 4-years duration with 7 specializations and intake of 20 in each, and Post Basic B.Sc. in Nursing program of 2-years duration with total 30 seats. The Institute also offers BPT program of 4 ½ years duration with total 70 seats.

The minimum eligibility requirement for admission to B.Sc. in Nursing is candidates must have passed 10+2 with minimum 45% marks (40% for the reserved category candidates) in PCB with English as a mandatory subject. Applicants who have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination or have done GNM and are registered with the State Nurses Registration Council are eligible to get admission to Post Basic B.Sc. in Nursing program. Admission to B.Sc. in Paramedical Science is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. Admission to B.Sc. Nursing and Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing is done on the basis of MGM-CET (Nursing). Admission to BPT is done on the basis of MGM-CET-BPT.

Candidates who are registered nurse (R.N. and R.M.) and possess a minimum one-year work experience as a nurse are eligible to join Post Basic Diploma Nursing.

Admission to the program is given on the basis of the merit in the qualifying examination.

(Biotechnology, Genetics, Clinical Research), MPT program of 2-years duration with the intake of 20 students, DM program with 2 specializations and M.Ch. course with 3 specializations and intake of one student in each discipline.

The minimum eligibility requirement for admission to M.Sc. Nursing program is candidates must have completed B.Sc. in Nursing/ Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing/ B.Sc. Hons. Nursing with minimum 55% marks along with one-year of experience are eligible to get admission to M.Sc. in Nursing course. It is compulsory for the students to have completed B.Sc. in either of Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry or B.Sc. Nursing or MBBS/ BDS/ BHMS/ BAMS with minimum 55% marks from a recognized University to get admission to M.Sc. (Medical) course. Candidates who have completed BPT program along with the internship from an institute are eligible to apply to MPT program. The minimum eligibility requirement for admission to DM and M.Ch. program is candidates must have completed MD or MS course from an MCI recognized medical college and registered from MCI, MMC, or respective State Council.

Admission to M.Sc. Nursing program is given on the basis of the applicant’s merit in MGM-PG-CET conducted by MGMIHS. Candidates are admitted to M.Sc. (Medical) course on the basis of the merit in the qualifying examination. Admission to MPT program is given on the basis of MGM-CET-MPT conducted by the university. Students who have passed MGM-SSET conducted by MGMIHS with minimum 50% marks are admitted to DM or MCh specialty course.

• Candidates seeking admission to M.Sc. in Nursing must be a Registered Nurse or Midwife with respective State Nursing Registration Council.
• Candidates who have completed Super specialty Degree course in any discipline are not eligible to apply for admission to another discipline of DM or M.Ch. course.
• A candidate seeking admission to DM or M.Ch course must be an Indian National.

Candidates who have completed PG level Degree course viz. MS, MD, M.Sc. in a relevant medical discipline with minimum 55% marks are considered eligible to get admission to the Ph.D. program.

Admission to the program is given on the basis of the marks obtained in the MGM-Ph.D.-CET and viva voice conducted by the university.
