IIT Indore maintains a good placement record over the years. During IIT Indore Placements 2022, a total of 110 recruiters visited the campus among which 30 were new recruiters. Major recruiters included Microsoft, Zomato, Amazon, Capgemini, Qualcomm etc.

During the placement drive, the highest domestic salary of INR 56 LPA was received by the B.tech Electrical Engineering batch. Students received an average salary of INR 23.50 LPA. The international highest salary offered was ¥ 7.39 million.
