M.Phil in Sociology is a master of philosophy course in Sociology which is also a preparatory course for Ph.D. This course is about the study of human society; its development, structure and functioning. M.Phil. in Sociology is a one year program that has most of the syllabus dedicated to personal research of the student. The course follows a semester system over annual system.
