Keral University B.Ed admission 2023 is ongoing. B.Ed second Allotment has been released on July 29, 2023. Candidates who have applied for admission can check the allotment result through the official website – keralauniversity.ac.in. College joining for selected candidates in the second list will be done by July 31, 2023.
Admissions to the program are based on merit in the qualifying examination. The university does not conduct any entrance examination for admission to the B.Ed program. Kerala University B.Ed Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates should have passed BA/B.Sc degree under the pattern of 10+2+3 recognized by the University of Kerala.
- Candidates who have passed their qualifying examination other than the Kerala University should provide the Equivalency certificate stating that the Kerala University recognizes their qualifying examination for the admission of the B.ED program.
- Candidates who have passed their bachelor’s degree in Vocational Courses or Specialized Course are eligible for admission. However, they have to submit an Equivalency certificate stating their bachelor degree is recognized by the University of Kerala.
- The minimum qualification for seeking admission in a b.ed program is 50% aggregate in Part1+Part2+Part3 together or 50% marks in post-graduation in the concerned subject.
- The Ranking of the Candidate is based on the marks obtained in Part 3.
- No rounding off a percentage of marks to the whole number is permitted.

Kerala University B.Ed Admission Criteria
The candidates seeking admission in the B.ed program at the University of Kerala should fill the application form and register themselves online. Admissions conducted to the affiliate colleges under the University of Kerala will publish the rank list issued by the University. Suppose you have any query/complaint related to the ranking list issued by the University. In that case, it should be brought under the notice of the Online Admission Section at the Kerala University within the date of publication of the rank list as the University does not entertain late complaints.

Kerala University B.Ed Application Process
- The first step is to fill the register online while generating the Application number and password. You need to click on the Registration Option available on the b.ed page of the website-www.admissions.keralauniversity.ac.in. The candidates need to fill in the basic details like Exam board, Year of Passing, Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Category, Email-Id, etc. After this, your application number and password is generated. Password is usually the date of birth which is in the format of dd/mm/yyyy.
- After completing the Registration Process, you need to log in to complete the remaining process of your registration process. You are advised to read the instructions properly before pressing the Proceed Option.
- The Registration fees for General Category/SEBC categories are Rs 600, whereas the SC/ST category is Rs300. You need to pay the Registration Amount by using the online payment faculty to complete your registration process.
- After the registration process is complete, the candidate should fill in the necessary details, like academic details, personal details, etc. Before submitting their application, they should verify their details and take a printout of their online application while pressing the Print Completed Application”.
- For the admission process, the University will send the course-wise applications to the Colleges for further admission.
- The college will send a seat matrix and a college login and password for the eligible students.
- The University will prepare a rank list of the application submitted, and the same will be published on the profile of the candidates and candidate login.
- After the notification from the college and need to visit the college for the verification of admission, the candidates need to visit the college.
- After the verification of the admission, the candidates need to pay fees to the college. The annual tuition fee for the Government and aided college is Rs 2100 and for self-financing colleges is up to Rs 29000.
- After the submission of the fees, the candidates need to submit their documents within 15 days, which will be forwarded to the University before the closure of the admission.
- After completing the documents, the candidates will get the enrolment number within one month.

Kerala University B.Ed Course Details
- The B.Ed program is divided into four semesters.
- The course consists of three components such as theory, CE and practical work. The course content is divided into three categories. The first category includes Perspectives on Education, the Second category includes Curriculum and Pedagogic courses[Optional Papers], and the Third category includes practical work.
- The medium of instruction for the course is English, but candidates can prefer to write in the Malayalam Language except for the language papers.
- The candidates should maintain 75% attendance and 90% for school internship. If the student fails to maintain the attendance criteria, then he/she would not be permitted to sit for their end terms examination.
- The candidate should obtain a minimum of 50% marks in aggregation with a minimum of 40% marks in Theory Paper, 40% when theory and CE are together, 50% for School Internship in Semester 3 and Semester 4 and 50% marks Minor project/ Case Study.
