Eligibility Criteria

(a)Shall have passed BTech/Bsc Engg/BE Degree examination in the respective branch witha minimum of 50% marks from any university in Kerala or an examination of any other University/Institution accepted by this University as equivaleny thereto. (b)Candidates who have passed BTech/Bsc Engg/BE Degree examination in allied branches of Engineering/Technology with minimum of 50% marks may also be considered in the absence of suffficient number of candidates for the course. The suitability of such candidates may be assessed by an admission committee constituted by the Head of the Department/School. (c)Candidates who have passed sections A and B of the Associate Membership / Graduate Membership Examinations in respective branches conducted by Institution of Engineers (India), Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers and Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers with a minimum of 50mpercent marks asre also eligible for admission if they have an Engineering Diploma or a basic degree in Science.
Should have minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the concerned field after acquiring the qualifying degree. This may be relaxed if sufficient number of candidates with the minimum prescribed experience is not available.
Admission Procedure : Admission will be based on the rank list prapared by giving due weightage to qualifying degree marks (50%), admission test conducted by Department (40%), and number of years of experience after obtaining the degree (weightage at the rate of 1% per year of experience subject to a maximum of 10%).
