- Master’s Degree in the concerned /allied/relevant subject with a minimum of 55% marks, or with a CGPA of 6.0 in the 10 point scale in the qualifying examination, from a University recognized by the University Grants Commission.

How to Apply for Central University of Kerala Admissions 2023?
- Candidates need to apply online only. For online application, candidates need to visit the homepage of CUCET
- On successful online application submission with online/debit card/credit card successful payment, an automated e-mail and SMS will be sent to the mail id & mobile number you have given in the application form.
- For online application and payment made through “Challan”, candidates may have to wait for 7 days and if they do not receive it within 7 days, they may send an e-mail to CUCET e-mail address queries@cucet.co.in.
- Take a printout for the same as future reference.
Note: Priority in P.hD seats will be given to candidates with JRF/NET. They have to apply for CUCET 2018 but candidates with JRF are exempted from appearing for CUCET 2018 in CU Kerala.

Ans. Yes, the students are offered the scholarships, which are:
- Postgraduate Indira Gandhi Scholarship for single girl child pursuing a PG level program offered by the University. A scholarship of INR 3,100 per month is given to such students.
- The Government of Kerala Scholarship to SC/ ST students for overseas studies.
Ques. Are vehicles allowed inside the campus after the admission?
Ans. The use of vehicles or parking of vehicles is prohibited inside the campus except for physically challenged students, who can use their carrier wheelchair with the permission of the registrar.
Students are encouraged to use cycles or solar bikes. If not, they may park their vehicles near the entrance of the campus.
Ques. Are students provided a hostel facility at CUK? If yes, what is the timing of the visiting hours?
Ans. Yes, the college provides the hostel facility to its students. The visiting hour timing is 5 PM to 7 PM. The hostel gate closes at 8 PM, all the students are instructed to be inside the hostel till 8 PM.
Ques. Is hostel money refundable at CUK?
Ans. No, the hostel money is not refundable, if the money is delayed and not paid on time, then a fine of INR 50 is to be paid on a daily basis. ‘However, an amount of INR 2000 as caution money will be given back to the students at the time of leaving the hostel which was taken at the starting of the session.
