Master of Surgery [MS] (General Surgery) From Manipal University, Manipal

Candidates can apply for the programme by visiting to Manipal University website. There are two different sections for application, one is for the Indian admissions and another is for international admissions.

Indian admissions are done for Indian nationals for whom the application fee is INR 600 and entrance test fee is INR 1400. International admissions are done for foreign national for whom the application fee is INR 2500. Application is submitted in 5 simple steps:

• Basic information: Here candidates are required to submit their information including personal details, course details and location.
• Program selection: Here candidate is required to select the program and make the online payment for that programme.
• Contact Information: Candidates are required to submit their contact details where University can communicate with the candidate.
• Education Qualification: Candidates are required to submit their educational details in this section.
• Confirmation: This is the last step for the application form where candidates can download the form and send it along with the Demand draft drawn in favour of Manipal University, payable at Manipal or Udupi to

NOTE: Payment of application fee can also be done through Credit card/Debit card/Net banking.  A copy of photograph and signature of candidate is to be uploaded while filling the online application form.

Aspirants seeking admission to the Program should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

Academic Requirement: 

• Candidate should pass in MBBS degree recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI). 
• Candidates holding foreign degree must be registered practitioners in the Country from where they have obtained their degree and MUST obtain a temporary registration certificate from Medical Council of India (MCI)

Entrance Exam:

Admissions will be done on the basis of the valid rank obtained in the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET)
