Kuvempu University - [KU], Shimoga - Course & Fees Details

Kuvempu University provides a two years full-time Masters of Business Administration (MBA) course, divided into four semesters. The students who have completed their Graduation in any discipline or have done BBA from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible to fill-up the form. The candidates can get the application form from both Online and Offline. The candidates for the course need to sit for an entrance examination named Postgraduate Common Eligibility test conducted by the university. The selection process is based on the performance of the candidates in the entrance examination.

KU MBA Eligibility Criteria

In order to apply for the MBA course at Kuvempu University, the candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria. For those who do not fulfill the eligibility criteria, their application will not be applicable. The following are the eligibility criteria:

• The candidates must have passed the three years Bachelors degree examination in any discipline from a recognized University, with a minimum of 50% of marks
•  He/ she must also qualify the Entrance Examination conducted by the University.

How to Apply for KU MBA?

Candidates can get the application form from both Online and Offline Mode, for the 2 year MBA course. They can follow the below-given steps to fill the application form

For Online

• Visit the official college website of the college and download the application form.
•  Fill out all the necessary details accurately, attach the xeroxed copy of the mentioned documents
• The application fee must be paid through Demand Draft in the name of the university
• Then submit the filled-in form to the chairman of the concerned department.

For Offline

• Candidates can purchase the application form from the college office and pay the application fee at SBI through Demand Draft or cash
• The application fee must be paid through Demand Draft in the name of the university

KU MBA Exam Pattern

The university selected the candidates for the course based on the Entrance examination of the Post Graduation Common Eligibility Test. The exam pattern is given below:

• PG CET is an Offline examination, with total marks of 100. 
• The duration is of 120 minutes, where the candidates are required to attain 80 questions, (60 one mark questions, 20 two marks questions)
• The questions are Multiple Choice questions, and one/ two marks is credited for the right answer, and there is no negative marking for a wrong answer

KU MBA Course Details

Kuvempu University offers 2 years of full-time Master of Business Administration. It offers three elective subjects. They are Human Resource Management, Financial Management, Marketing Management. The semester-wise subjects are given in the below table along with the credit.
