Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology offers B.Tech in various specializations or disciplines of Engineering. Lateral entry is also allowed.

Key Points:

• Admission will be made by Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES), Panchkula.
• The selection to these courses will be carried only in terms of marks scored in JEE Main.
• Applicants are required to have PCM as the compulsory subject combination in their 10+2 level and must have a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate.

The University offers various courses under the Under-Graduate level with various specializations. Not only do they have under-graduate courses but they also have some integrated 5 year courses such as for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biotechnology. 

GJUST Hisar UG Eligibility Criteria

• The candidates should have passed 10+2 examinations in Science discipline in the qualifying examinations from a recognized Board/ University.
• They should have scored at least 60% marks (57% for SC candidates of Haryana) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology/ Biotechnology subjects in aggregate.

GJUST Hisar UG Selection Criteria

• The selection of candidates to the UG or Integrated courses is based on the Entrance Examination conducted by the University (50% weightage) and the marks scored by the candidates in 10+2 (50% weightage).
• In case the entrance test could not be held due to COVID-19, the score of the entrance test will be made 0 and that of the other part will be doubled.
• The contents/syllabi of the entrance test are available on the official website.

GJUST Hisar M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

• The candidates should have passed Bachelor’s degree in respective discipline from a recognized College/ University.
• They should have scored at least 55% marks (52.25% for SC candidates of Haryana).

GJUST Hisar M.Tech Selection Criteria

• The selection process for M.Tech courses is based on GATE score and Entrance Examination conducted by the University.
• Candidates who have appeared for GATE will be given the first priority, rest seats will be filled on the basis of entrance exam merit.

The University also offers MBA courses in both full-time and part-time manner. For full-time they have four different specializations and for part-time they have only one specialization.

Key Points:

• Candidates interested in an MBA course need to clear the CAT with a minimum 40% score.
• Admissions to MBA (Part-Time Evening) are done through Entrance Test and they must have a year of work experience.
• Graduation in any stream with at least 50% marks (47.5% for SC candidates of Haryana) from a recognized university.

The University offers several courses at the postgraduate level in the fields of Commerce, Science, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy and Management. 

GJUST Hisar PG Eligibility Criteria

• The candidates should have passed Bachelor’s degree in respective discipline from a recognized College/ University.
• They should have scored at least 55% marks (52.25% for SC candidates of Haryana).

GJUST Hisar PG Selection Criteria

• For M.Sc, MPT and MCA the selection of candidates is based on the merit from Entrance Examination conducted by the University.
• For MCA (Lateral Entry) the admission is done through Haryana Lateral Entry Entrance Test (LEET).
• Admissions to M.Pharm are done through GPAT and Entrance Examination conducted by the University.

The University has a different segment known as distance education under which they impart education to the distant ones. They offer UG, PG and PG Diploma courses across different streams and disciplines under its Directorate of Distance Education. The department of distance education offers courses of BMC, BBA, MBA, M.Com, M.Sc, MCA, MMC and PG Diploma courses of PGDC, PGDA etc.
