Admission to the M.Sc. Biotechnology program at DCRST involves an entrance exam followed by a merit-based selection process. After the exam, a merit list is prepared, leading to a counseling session three days later. Successful candidates must pay the full fee at the bank immediately upon selection. The program is taught by four highly qualified professors, all of whom are NET qualified, hold Ph.D. degrees, and have significant experience. The fee structure is transparent, with all details and additional charges clearly communicated to selected candidates. A refundable security deposit of 5000 is required. However, the program does not offer internships or placements, which is a downside. Scholarships are available for high-ranking students and those from ST/SC categories, offering 1000 to 1500 over six months during the reviewer's time.
