Ans: Yes, the university provides hostel accommodation depending upon the availability to its students except the students of Diploma. The university provides 18 hostels amongst which 13 hostels, 5 for Boys, 7 for Girls and 1 for PG married students which are situated at the main campus Hisar, 2 hostels; one each for Boys/Girls at Kaul and 3 hostels; 2 for boys and 1 for girls at Bawal. UG girls students will be given preference.

Admission to all PG & Ph.D. courses except MBA is done through merit in CET conducted by the university. Admission to M.Tech is done either through merit in GATE or CET by the university. The university is granted admission to MBA courses on the basis of CAT or CMAT.

The minimum age of a candidate should be at least 16 years for all the 4-years UG courses, in order to apply for the programme. For the 6-year duration of B.Sc (H) Agriculture, the minimum age of a candidate should be 14.
