AI-Generated Summary based on 2 Reviews

The Central University of Haryana offers a range of scholarships and financial aid options, primarily focused on students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, SC/ST categories, and local residents of Haryana. The tuition fees for general and OBC category students are around Rs. 65,150 per year, while SC/ST students pay approximately Rs. 29,150 annually. Scholarships are available under various schemes such as the Merit Cum Means Scholarship, Haryana Post Matric Scholarship, and Ambedkar Medhavi Chhatr Yojna.

The Earn While You Learn (EWYL) scheme provides financial aid to students who work part-time within the university. Additionally, PhD research scholars in the science stream receive a scholarship of Rs. 8,000 per month. Students with top academic performance can receive an award equivalent to half of the admission charges. Hostel fees are separate, with an annual charge of about Rs. 12,000. Various scholarships from state and central government programs are accessible, and additional support is available for female and disabled students.

The university's fee structure is relatively low compared to private institutions, and students can apply for educational loans if needed.

Fees and Financial Aid:

B.Tech is the most expensive course in this university (even more than MBA), But if you compare it to similar Government Univesities and Colleges like NITs, the fees here is much lower, I am attaching the document for all the fees as there are way too many categories, but you could live in hostel or PG, hostel is a cheaper option as it is inside the campus and campus is very big, so you will have to walk over a kilometer just to attend classes, so a two-wheeler (preferred) or a bicycle is important here, Hostel+Mess - around 5-6K per month Extra Travel and eatig out- around 3-4K a month a student would ideally require around 9-10K a month to live comfortably like a king
