Sushant University Admission 2024: Application form, Application process

Sushant University offers B.Tech. under-five specializations-

CSE is offered with three sub-specializations: 

1. Cloud Technology
2. Data Science
3. Cyber Security-Industry Partner: Lucideus

Note- To be eligible for admission, the candidates must possess a minimum of 50% marks in PCM with English at 10+2 qualifying exams.

Sushant University Gurgaon B.Tech. Selection Criteria

Admission to the above-mentioned B.Tech. programs will be done on the basis of the marks secured by the candidates in JEE Main.

Candidates who do not possess a valid score in JEE (Main) must appear for the Sushant University Entrance Exam (AUEE).

At the UG level, the institute offers admission under the following disciplines-

• Law
• Science
• Optometry
• Architecture & Planning
• Design
• Management
• Commerce

The duration period varies depending upon the nature of the course.

Sushant University Gurgaon Eligibility Criteria

Admission to any of the above-mentioned UG courses will be done on the basis of the following-

Sushant University Gurgaon UG Selection Criteria

B.A. LL.B/BBA LL.B (Hons) or LL.B (Hons)

• Admission to these programs will be done on the basis of CLAT/LSAT/AILET.
• Candidates who do not possess a calid score in any of the National-level Law Entrance Exams must appear for AULET (Sushant University Law Entrance Test)

Distribution of Marks-

1. 50% weightage to 10+2 marks
2. 25% weightage to interview 
3. 25% CLAT/LSAT/AILET/AULET Score

B.Sc./B.Des/BHM/BBA/BBA (HHA)/B.Opt. - Admission will be granted on the basis of merit.

B.Arch. - Admission to the B.Arch. program will be done solely on the basis of NATA or JEE (Paper-2)

At postgraduate, Sushant University offers Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE), and Civil Engineering (CE) to the students who want to make their career in the field of Engineering. The course is offered for two years. 

Eligibility Criteria

• To be eligible for admission, the candidates must possess an overall aggregate of 55% marks in BE/B.Tech under a relevant stream.
• Valid score in GATE

Sushant University Gurgaon M.Tech. Selection Criteria

For the purpose of admission, the candidates must possess a valid score in GATE. Candidates who haven’t appeared for GATE, must appear for AUEE (Sushant University Entrance Exam).

Note: Admission in M.Tech. CSE will be done on the basis of following weightage:

• 50% weightage will be given to B.Tech. / M.Sc./ MCA/ AMIE score
• 50% weightage will be given to AUEE/GATE score

Aside from the M.Tech. programs, the institute offers various PG courses under different disciplines, such as- Management, Architecture, Science, Design, Optometry, Public Health, Hospitality, and Law.

The M.Arch. program is offered under the following four specializations-

1. Built Heritage
2. Urban Design
3. Interior Architecture
4. Landscape Architecture

Sushant University Gurgaon PG Eligibility & Selection Criteria

The eligibility criteria required for admission to the PG courses is as follows-

At the doctoral level, the institute offers a Ph.D. under the following disciplines of architecture, design, engineering, management, computer sciences, law and applied sciences. The duration for the Part time and Full time Ph. D. programme is 3 years. The maximum duration (from the date of registration) of Ph. D. programme will not exceed 6 years.

Note- Candidates possessing M.Phil. Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade and

Master’s degree with 50% marks in aggregate in the discipline concerned shall also be eligible

for admission to Ph.D. programme.

Sushant University Gurgaon Ph.D. Selection Criteria

Admission Requirement:

• Satisfying the minimum eligibility criteria
• Entrance Examination
• An interview/presentation about the research interests/area to the SRC after the Entrance Examination

Selection in Ph.D. programme will be based on merit. Weightage of fifty percent will be given to the performance in the written test and fifty percent to presentation/Interview. 

The Entrance Test will comprise of two papers; first being Research Methodology and the second being Subject Specific. 

Exam Pattern

• Duration of Paper I & Paper II: 90 Minutes
• The questions will be presented in an MCQ format.
• Distribution of Marks:
  • Research Methodology: 50 marks
  • Subject Specific: 50 marks
