Nirma University UG Admission 2023: B.Des, BBA+MBA, BA-LL.B & B.Com-LL.B
Nirma University also offers B.Des, Integrated MBA, Integrated LL.B and B.Com (Hons.) courses at UG level. Admission to BBA+MBA is based on the score in UGAT followed by an Interview and performance in class XII. Final merit will be determined based on the following criteria:

- The Situation Test will evaluate the design aptitude of applicants with the objective of measuring skills in 2D and 3D visualization, creativity, handling of materials and dexterity of making
- Personal Interview of candidates will evaluate general awareness, aptitudes and interests; quality of responses to social and cultural issues etc. Candidate’s ability to articulate thoughts through creative work done by the student (portfolio) may be shown to the Interview panel.

Nirma University M.Tech and M.Pharm Admission 2023
Nirma University offers M.Tech (Regular and External), MBA and M.Pharm courses in various disciplines for the duration of two years. M.Tech admission is based on GATE while Non-GATE score holders are selected through Nirma University Entrance Test.
MBA admissions are based on a valid score in CAT and GMAT for the candidates belonging to PIO & FN categories. GPAT qualified candidates are eligible to apply for M.Pharm while Non-GPAT candidates need to appear in the Written Test conducted by the university.

Nirma University Ph.D. Admission 2023
Nirma University offers full-time and part-time Ph.D. programs in the faculties of Engineering, Management, Science, Law, Pharmacy, and Architecture. Admission is done on the basis of an entrance test followed by an interview.
UGC-NET (Including JRF) UGC-CSIR NET (Including JRF) SLET / GATE / GPAT passed candidates can also apply for admission. Teacher fellowship holders who have passed M.Phil program will be exempted from appearing in the entrance test and deemed to be qualified for a personal interview.
Ph.D. Entrance Test will consist of 50% questions from Research Methodology and 50% from subject-specific Knowledge. Students have to secure at least 50% marks in the entrance test.

What is the admission procedure for Nirma University, Ahmedabad?
Nirma University (NU) situated in Ahmedabad, Gujarat is a NAAC accredited ‘A’ grade private university. Overall, Nirma University offers 61 courses in 11 streams in various fields. The admission process for each course is different. As the preferred stream and course are not mentioned here, the generic information about the admission process of all courses is mentioned below.
Nirma University offers admission in categories, namely, All India, Gujarat State, NRI, PIO & Foreign Nationals (FN), and Children of Indian workers of Gulf Countries & South East Asia. Nirma University conducts its private entrance exam and also accepts the scores of several competitive exams like JEE Main, UCEED, IPMAT, CLAT, GATE, GPAT, etc.
The courses and accepted exams for the same are mentioned below.

BTech admission is through JEE Main & GUJCET. For BA-LLB/ BCom-LLB, CLAT scores are considered. BArch and BPharm admission is based on ACPC scores. For BArch, the institute also considers NATA scores. BCom admissions are merit-based.

For admission to medical courses like MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS/ BHMS, NEET UG scores are considered.

Form MTech and MPharm GATE and GPAT examination scores are accepted. For MSc courses, the institute conducts a written test.

LLM admissions are done through PG CLAT or ILNU Test.

Ph.D. candidates are required to go through the Written Test + Interview conducted by the institute.

3. Fill in the required information, including personal details, contact information, educational qualification, and residential address.
4. Submit all the asked documents in a given format.
5. Pay the prescribed application fees.

Whereas the offline admissions or admissions through Management quota can be done by visiting the College offices and official procedures will be taken for the enrollment.
Students can avail of scholarships during admission. Nirma University provides various scholarships to its students. Scholarships are awarded to the meritorious or students who require financial support.
The University provides Merit and Merit-Cum-Need scholarships to BTech students. Under this scholarship scheme, INR 1 Lakh is awarded to the top five students, INR 90,000 to the next 20 students, and INR 50,000 to the other 25 students.

IIM Amritsar is a newly established IIM and is not yet in the league of the IIM family. Despite that, its placement statistics are better than at Nirma University. IIM Amritsar is the 15th Indian Institute of Management being set up by the Ministry of Human Resources Development with the support of the Government of Punjab. IIM Amritsar has a small batch size in comparison to Nirma University. The programs offered at both the B Schools are different.
Will I be able to get admission in Nirma University BALLB with a rank of 1728 in the CLAT?
Yes, you will be able to get admission to Nirma University. The admissions are done on the basis of All India Merit Rank in CLAT examination. Students with 80-85 % can expect their seat at Nirma University.
Generally, students who rank less than 2000 have a better chance of getting admissions at Nirma University.
Students receive job offers from popular firms like Amarchand Mangaldas, Sintex Group, Joyce Law Group, AZB and Partners, Adani Group, BMR and Associates, DSK Legal, Fox Mandal, Future Generali, GNFC, etc.

Highlights supporting the above order of preference are discussed below.
- CE is preferred over IT because CE (or CSE) contains more subjects, especially hardware and electronics papers. Also, placements in CE are better than IT, in most institutes.
- Dharmsinh Desai University has a better faculty and teaching curriculum than Nirma University. A DIA (aid seat) in DDU has minimal fees too, so it is advised to choose first.
- If you want to go for future studies in India or abroad, DDU and LD would be the better option.
- In terms of placement and exposure, NIRMA leads in most cases among the above three. So, if you are just interested in placement, NIRMA is the better choice.
Overall Dharmsinh Desai University has the maximum advantages.
