NIT Goa Scholarship 2025

The college offers several scholarship opportunities primarily for SC, ST, and OBC students. Scholarships such as the Post Matric Scholarship, Gagan Bharari Shiksha Yojana, and Merit-Based Awards are available for eligible students, predominantly from reserved categories. The Central Sector Scholarship and National Scholarship for Higher Education are also supported by the government. For general category students, no direct scholarships are provided by the institute, but they can apply for national scholarships via the National Scholarship Portal.

Education loans can be obtained through external banks, with a Corporation Bank branch on campus for convenience. Tuition fee waivers are based on family income, with full tuition fees waived for incomes below 1 lakh per annum, and a 2/3 waiver for incomes between 1 to 5 lakhs. The general tuition fee is approximately 80,000 to 90,000 INR per year, and the hostel fees are about 80,000 INR annually. For SC/ST students, the tuition fee is significantly reduced to 2,000 INR per year, with the same hostel fees as others.

Overall, financial aid is structured to support economically weaker and reserved category students.
