NIT Delhi B.Tech: Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

NIT Delhi BTech Admission 2024 registrations are going on. The institute offers Bachelors of Technology i.e., BTech for a duration of 4 years seggregated into 8 semester. NIT Calicut BTech admission is done through the JEE Mains score and further, JoSAA counselling. The application process for the NIT Delhi BTech program is currently open and the candidates can now apply online on jeemain.nta.nic.

Furthermore, NIT Delhi BTech 2024 admissions will be based on JEE Mains 2024. JEE Mains is expected to take place in two phases, i.e., in the month of January and April. JEE Mains 2024 first attempt exam date is scheduled on the last week of January 2024 (tentative). 

NIT Delhi offers 4 year BTech program in Computer Science Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering. NIT Delhi’s is ranked 51th by the NIRF 2023 rankings in the Engineering category. Total fees for the program is INR 3.21 Lacs for the all the semesters.

NIT Delhi BTech Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates seeking admission to the B.Tech program at NIT Delhi must have completed their 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects.
• Candidates must have at least 60% or 6.5 CGPA overall.

NIT Delhi BTech Admission 2023

NIT Delhi offers to students who have obtained 60% aggregate marks in Class 12. Final selection of the students is done on the basis of JEE rank followed by JoSaa counselling.

How to Apply?

• On the NIT Delhi website, complete the e-application form and upload all required papers.
• The Institute officials will check the paperwork. If there is a problem with the students' certificates, the official will email the students and let them know.
• You will receive a roll number once the admissions procedure has been completed. Your Roll No. will be sent to you via email, and the faculty adviser will also provide instructions on registering for online classes and receiving your Roll No.
• A faculty advisor will be given to each student, who will receive guidance throughout the registration process.
• Through their registered mail address, each student will receive an Institute email ID.
• In the Microsoft Teams App, online classes will be delivered until everything returns to normal.
• Through their mail, each student will receive a user ID and password.
• Students must immediately log into the Microsoft Teams App with their roll number to attend all classes.

Note: The fee mentioned is per semester. Candidates belonging to Gen/OBC/SC/ST/PH category whose family income is less than 1 Lac are exempted from Tuition fee payment.

NIT Delhi BTech Course Details

NIT Delhi offers BTech in CSE, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering. The 4 year program consists of 8 semesters, in the first 2 semesters all students study the same curriculum. Curricula of the program is suggested by Undergraduate Program and Evaluation Committee (UGPEC). NIT Delhi BTech includes summer courses, regular attendance, evaluation processes, and classroom discussions in which students must participate for good grades.
