Patna University runs a number of courses at UG, PG and Doctoral curriculum with different specialisations. All the courses are functioning in various fields and some of them are Arts, Science, Commerce, Education, Management, Law, Medical and others. Patna University conducts Bachelor of Education Entrance Test (BEET) for admission to B.Ed course. This exam is for selection to two Teacher Training Colleges namely Patna Training College & Women's Training College. There are a total number of 100 seats available in both Patna Training College & Women's Training College. It is a state level exam. The minimum eligibility is to complete a bachelor's degree from a recognized university in a related field.
BEET Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should have done graduation in Science/ Commerce/ Humanities/ Social Science or M.Sc with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. Or students can have a B.Tech or B.E degree with 55% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. There is a 5% relaxation for the students belonging to reservation categories.
