Rajiv Gandhi University offers BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BFA, BCA, B.Music, and BALLB at the UG level. BA and B.Sc are offered in multiple streams. The duration of these courses is 3 years while BALLB is offered for a duration of 5 years. Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU) Selection Process
The selection of Candidates for UG courses at RGU will be done on the basis of marks obtained in CUET 2023 and the merit list prepared based on it.
- Candidates applying for the BCA course will be selected on the basis of merit.
- Candidates applying for B.Sc in Geology will be given admission on the basis of CUET/RGUCET results.
- The candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/OBC categories will be selected based on the norms of the Government of India

There is a relaxation of 5% for SC, ST and OBC (NCL) holding Honours or Pass course degree. Candidates with B.Ed. degree having minimum 45% marks are also eligible for the course of M.A in Education.
RGU Admission B.Ed, M.Ed Admission 2023
B.Ed program is of two years duration covered in four semesters. The admission is based on merit with 30 seats reserved for deputed teachers, 35 seats for direct admission and remaining 35 seats for paid admission.
M.Ed programme is of two years covered in four semesters. Out of 20 seats 10 seats are for paid admission and remaining 10 seats for direct admission. The admission is purely on merit basis.

RGU BCA, MCA, M.Tech, MBA & MSW Admission 2023
BCA and MCA are three years courses covered in six semesters while M.Tech, MBA and MSW are of two years duration with four semesters each. For admission to M.Tech program, candidates with valid GATE score are given preference.
In case of M.Tech in Electronics and Computer Engineering AIMETE and IETE graduates can also apply. The MBA and MSW applicants have to appear for a written test followed by personal interview. Applicants have to appear for a round of group discussion in case of MSW programme.

RGU M.Phil & Ph.D Admission 2023
RGU offers M.Phil & Ph.D program in Anthropology, Hindi, Economics, Political Science, Tribal Science, Mass Communication, History, Geography, Commerce, Botany and Zoology. Admission is based on the score of RGUMPET followed by Personal Interview. UGC/CSIR-JRF holders are exempted from the entrance test and have to appear for the personal interview only.

- M.Phil students from RGU or any other UGC recognized university are also exempted from the test. Ph.D scholars of the university are directly eligible for UGC (non-NET) Fellowship.
- The seats available for Ph.D program are dynamic in nature and differ every year. However, of the total seats 25% seats are for M.Phil students form RGU or any other UGC recognized university, 25% seats are reserved for JRF holders and remaining 50% for candidates applying through entrance test.

Application forms can be acquired and submitted in four ways as discussed below:
- Purchase the prospectus with application form from RGU campus and submit the duly filled application form in person.
- Download the prospectus by visiting the official website & submit the duly filled application form in University campus.
- Pay the application fee online through net banking/credit or debit card.
- Apply online with documents and pay application fee via DD or challan.
Once the forms are submitted the candidates are requested to check their application status on the university website. The important documents (Xerox or scanned copies) required are:
