Aims
Using maths to solve industrial and commercial problems has led to vital breakthroughs for human advancement. Mathematical models underpin engineering, the applied sciences, computing and many aspects of management today.
This course equips you with the skills and techniques you need to develop your maths and statistical knowledge, as well as giving you a sound grounding in key business and management issues and applying maths and statistics to solve industrial and commercial issues.
At Brunel you will be working with staff who are internationally recognised for their state-of-the-art subject knowledge. Maths has links with many other subject areas and we offer a wide choice of exciting courses, each with a different emphasis. These courses include modules in pure and applied mathematics, operational research, computer science, finance, IT and management studies. This structure means that most individual subject modules are not unique to any particular degree.
