This course will equip you with a multitude of skills and competencies that enable you to be successful in a career in the nutrition sector with a focus on either sport or food.
Build theoretical and real-world practical skills through a combination of lectures, seminars, practical sessions and assessment tasks. Some of these are laboratory and kitchen based and some classroom based. You work on real life research and consultancy projects in collaboration with local organisations, schools and charities. Staff in the Food and Nutrition Group are from a variety of backgrounds including public health, dietetics, nutrition, the food industry and the sport and exercise sector.
