This top-up award is ideal if you have a HND or foundation degree and wish to develop your award to degree level studying part time. It prepares you for a career in an industry where there a demand for engineers with a sound knowledge of engineering applications, as well as people who understand the necessary techniques to develop, test and maintain them.
You gain a solid foundation of engineering principles and develop your specific knowledge relevant to industries. Your understanding of core engineering subjects and electrical engineering specialisms is also developed.
Our teaching laboratories include state of the art testing and analysis equipment which is housed in modern laboratories, and run by our highly experienced and knowledgeable staff.
As well as specialist knowledge, you gain the professional skills needed for a successful career in industry and commercial engineering enterprises. A project management module also develops your ability to plan, organise and manage resources.
Assessment tasks progressively mirror many of the projects that experts in industry and the professions would carry out, but are also designed to develop and test many of the key skills needed in employment generally.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- High school leaving certificate required
- two GCE/VCE A level pass
- International baccalaureate
English Language Requirements:
- IELTS: minimum 6.0 overall with minimum 5.5 in each category
- TOEFL iBT: minimum 79 with minimum 17 in listening, 20 in speaking, 18 in reading and 17 in writing
- Pearson: minimum 52 with minimum 51 in each section
- MELAB: minimum 80
Indian Student Specific Requirements:
- Score of standard XII exam with 65 percent
- A levels
