- The BSc is designed for students who are interested in making mathematics their major area of study but who would also like to obtain knowledge and an understanding of general economics and related subjects such as commerce and business
- In the first two years, students will receive a thorough grounding in analysis, algebra, and mathematical methods, following the same modules as the single-subject Mathematics students taking 3.0 credits a year.
- In place of the Applied Mathematics modules, students will take 1.0 credits of introductory economics each year (comprising both microeconomics and macroeconomics). Having laid the basic foundations there is a range of options in both mathematics and economics in the third year.
- This program is offered as a three-year BSc or a four-year MSci degree. The first two years of the program are identical, and students are advised to apply for the MSci degree in the first instance, as it is possible to transfer to the BSc during the first three years.
- Upon successful completion of 360 credits, Students will be awarded a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics with Economics.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students should have A*A*A with A*A* in Mathematics and Further Mathematics, or A*AA with A*A in Mathematics and Further Mathematics, any order, and a 2 in any STEP Paper or a Distinction in the Mathematics AEA.
- GCSEs English Language and Mathematics at grade C or 5 is required.
- Students have 40 IB scores,40 points overall with 20 points in three higher level subjects including 7 in Mathematics, or 39 overall with 19 points in three higher level subjects including 7 in Mathematics and a 2 in any STEP paper or a distinction in Mathematics AEA, with no higher-level below 5.
- Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores.
Indian Students Eligibility:
- Students successfully completion of one year of a Bachelor's Degree at an Indian university recognized by UCL, with an average grade equivalent to UK Upper Second Class.
- The Year 12/Standard 12 Indian School Certificate awarded by CISCE or CBSE with five subjects at 95, 95, 95, 95, 90.
- The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) results are not required.

VISA & Work Study

- Visa nationals and non-visa nationals whose program of study lasts for more than six months must not attempt to travel to the UK without a valid student visa.
- Student can apply for a student visa to study in the UK if he/she is 16 or over.
- The student should have offered a place on a course by a licensed student sponsor and should have enough money to support him/her and pay for his/her course - the amount will vary depending on your circumstances.
- Should speak, read, write and understand English and have consent from their parents if they‘re 16 or 17 - need evidence of this when applying.

My opinion is that you must be a self-motivated individual in order to pursue studies in UK.
I choose this university because it was the best i could get and also because its located in central London.
