Master of Research [M.Res] [Global Health Geographies] From Queen Mary, University of London

This MRes is a pre-doctoral training programme taught in conjunction with the London Interdisciplinary Social Science Doctoral Training Partnership (LISS DTP) and is an approved pathway for ESRC 1+3 PhD studentship funding Ð ideal for those seeking to work in a research-related role. MRes programmes in the School of Geography have the same structure as the MA/MSc equivalents, but include two compulsory modules: 'Geographical Thought and Practice' and ÔIntroduction to Social Science 2: Quantitative Methods and DataÕ.Ê

This programme:

• provides you with a detailed understanding of global health debates, agendas, politics and practices in a variety of geographical and historical contexts
• encourages you to examine pressing global health challenges in light of the significant conceptual, methodological and empirical contributions of critical geographical scholarship
• involves unique multi-disciplinary teaching from internationally recognised global health experts that permits students to craft a programme of study that furthers their own academic or professional interests.
