The History BA is designed to develop their critical thinking and independence of thought through an extraordinary breadth of periods and places. They encourage students to adopt a comparative approach to their studies, looking at the connections and contrasts between different eras of history from around the globe. They will explore topics covered at school as well as many that aren’t, such as the history of Contemporary Africa or friendship in Medieval Europe.
