Biopharmaceutical drugs are transforming the way we treat patients, fighting global diseases such as cancer and inflammatory diseases such as arthritis. Many pharmaceutical companies are expanding their biopharmaceutical capability, which is creating demand for talented, well-trained people.
Designed, developed, and delivered in partnership with Labcorp Drug Development (formerly known as Covance), a major multinational contract research company focused on drug development, this master provides a springboard for high-quality life science graduates wanting to start a career in the biopharmaceutical industry or undertake further research in an academic environment.
The learning and teaching on the course have been constructed to prepare students to work in industry or academia.
There are no exams, all the assessment is performed by in-course assignments including a dissertation report arising from the research project work.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Normally a 2:1 honors degree or equivalent in a Biological Sciences subject (with a substantial proportion of ‘molecular’ content), Bioprocessing or Biochemical Engineering, but relevant experience may be taken into account.

Indian Eligibility:

Applicants must have passed graduation with 60% in Biological Sciences subject from a recognized institution.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
