- This four-year French degree is designed to meet the needs of beginners as well as more advanced learners.
- With a diverse cultural heritage and varied history, France has been hugely influential in the shaping of the modern world. As a major economic and political force, it continues to play an important role today.
- Students will gain a thorough knowledge of this global language while building an awareness of French and Francophone culture.
- They will study core language modules and students will explore areas of French culture, politics, history, and literature that interest them.
- The size of the department means that we can offer a range of optional modules on topics from politics and philosophy to chivalry in medieval France, via the history of the French language and postcolonial Francophone cinema.
- The translation is an integral part of the course from students first year, providing an opportunity to specialize in this area if they want to explore this as a potential career path. This four-year course includes a year abroad.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must have proof of their senior secondary school transcripts with a minimum B average.
Indian Student Eligibility:
- Students need to have Standard XII qualification with 60-85% overall average, including 75-90% in two relevant subjects.
