Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students require a minimum of 2.2 UK or overseas undergraduate honours degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
- Students of CEng accredited Bachelor’s degree can enrol on the course provided they meet the entry requirements. This will automatically meet the educational base for Chartered Engineer status.
- Students of an IEng accredited or an overseas Bachelor’s degree will need to apply for an academic assessment to be formally approved for CEng. They may be required to complete extra modules if their Bachelor's degree is deemed to be not technical enough.
- Applicants with professional/industrial experience and/or training, but not meeting the normal entry requirements will be considered on their merits.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they complete one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Completed a 4-year bachelor's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Or, completed a B.Sc/B.Com/B.A (3-4 year) degree from well-ranked institutions with an overall grade of 70%.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/PTE or any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
