Master of Science in Computer Science at Coventry University is a 1-year (3 Semesters) research-intensive program.
It is an on-campus program offered on a full-time basis.
This program is also offered on a part-time basis for a duration of 2 years.
The Civil Engineering MSc is offered to UK civil engineering and cognate science/engineering graduates seeking a professional qualification as Chartered Engineers.
The courses are designed to develop high-level knowledge and wide-ranging understanding of the planning, design, construction, and operation of civil engineering works, exploring the traditional and innovative practices behind iconic constructions such as Wembley stadium.
This master's program provides students with the additional option to apply for a work placement opportunity during their first semester.
This degree is accredited by the Joint Board of Moderators (JBM) comprising of
- Institution of Civil Engineers
- The Institution of Structural Engineers
- The Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation
- Institute of Highway Engineers
- Chartered Management Institute (CMI)
In this program, the module consists of 5 days of tuition spanning over 2 weeks (Monday to Wednesday in the first week, and Thursday and Friday in the second week), followed by independent study and completion of assessments.
The courses culminate in a research project, during which students should be able to apply the theoretical and practical knowledge acquired so far from their academic training on real structural problems.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students require a minimum of 2.2 UK or overseas undergraduate honours degree in Civil Engineering.
Holders of CEng accredited Bachelor’s degree can enroll on the course provided they meet the entry requirements. This will automatically meet the educational base for Chartered Engineer status.
Holders of an IEng accredited or an overseas Bachelor’s degree will need to apply for an academic assessment to be formally approved for CEng.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they complete one of the following eligibility criteria:

Completed a 4-year bachelor's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Or, completed a B.Sc/B.Com/B.A (3-4 year) degree from well-ranked institutions with an overall grade of 70%.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/PTE or any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
