Master of Arts in Design Management at Coventry University is a 1-year program.
It is an on-campus program offered on a full-time basis.
This Design Management course has a professional and practical focus.
It has been developed in collaboration with leading professional design managers from companies including Imagination Ltd, Xerox (HCL), Cyber-Duck, and Knight Design Innovation
Students have two options to choose from:
- Without professional experience option
- With professional experience option
Students get extensive workshop facilities including state-of-the-art laser cutting, rapid prototyping, desktop CNC milling, 3D printing facilities, paint spraying, plastic forming, and handcraft.
This course will be assessed using a variety of methods that will could vary depending upon the module. Assessment methods include practical or project work, tests, essays, presentations, posters, and group work.
In a typical teaching week, students will have approximately 18 contact hours of teaching.
This master's program provides students with the additional option to apply for a professional experience opportunity during their first semester.
Coventry University has links with universities in Europe, Asia, China, North and South America provide opportunities to study abroad and gain an international perspective.
Students can also apply for the courses such as:

- MA Product Design Innovation

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students must have a good 2:2 undergraduate degree or higher grade from a recognized university.
The related field in the UG program is in a creative subject, management, business, or related subject area.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they complete one of the following eligibility criteria:

Completed a 4-year bachelor's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Or, completed a B.Sc/B.Com/B.A (3-4 year) degree from well-ranked institutions with an overall grade of 70%.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/PTE or any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
