- M.Phil in Machine Learning and Machine Intelligence at the University of Cambridge is offered on a full-time basis for a duration of 11-months.
- This is an on-campus and thesis-based program.
- This is a unique program that joint emphasis on both machine learning and machine intelligence, including speech and language technology and computer vision.
- There are 10 full core modules, in addition to an elective option which can be chosen from a broad variety of modules.
- From mid-Lent Term through to the end of the course, students will conduct a substantial research project leading to a dissertation.
- The taught modules will be in a range of styles: traditional lecture courses, lecture courses with associated practical classes, reading clubs, and seminar-style modules.
- The course will emphasise coursework in several of the taught modules.
- Software projects aimed at implementing algorithms and modelling methods will be central to the practical modules and the research project.
- Students will write a dissertation of no more than 15,000 words.
- Students wishing to apply for continuation to the PhD would normally be expected to attain an overall mark of 70 percent.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must complete a UK first class Honours Degree from a recognized university.
- Students will be expected to have well-developed technical skills in engineering or a related technical area, in mathematics, and in computing.
- Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (CAE) or C1 Advanced-Grade A or B (with at least 193 in each individual element) plus a language center assessment.
- Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) or C2 Proficiency-Grade A, B, or C (with at least 200 in each individual element).
- Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL and PTE to get admission in this program.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they complete one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Completed a 4-year bachelor's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Or, completed a B.Sc/B.Com/B.A (3-4 year) degree from well-ranked institutions with an overall grade of 70% or CGPA 7.3+.
