The program offers overall development. It includes literature, Grammer, linguistics and a lot more. The faculties are awesome and teach everything in depth. The faculty to student ratio is around 25.
The course tuition fees are around £24,000 / year for students outside the UK. Student loans are also available and scholarships can also be availed which can reduce the fees a lot. Events like formal dinners, etc. Cost affordable sums of money.
No industrial or research experience as this is not relevant for law. The syllabus generally is well-updated but the structure itself tends to be more old-fashioned. More emphasis on understanding the theory and basis behind the topic than current real-world application.
One of the best undergraduate law programs in the world. I appreciated the world-class teaching and the professors who were at the leading edge of their subjects.
Very intense but rewarding. Definitely made more difficult due to covid.
Well reputed and offers a good quality education. Really nice campus town.
I think it's good and varied. We have to study two languages, which means there's lots of variety. We focus on all aspects of the language: literature (from all eras), society, grammar, linguistics, etc. I think there's something to offer everyone. I look forward to specialization in later years.
?9250 a year for UK students, though most people are eligible for a student loan to help them fund the costs. Most people live in college residence and the cost of accommodation varies according to where you stay - usually less than $2000 a term. Events like formal dinners do cost money, though not a lot, usually about $15 for a 3-course meal, which I find very reasonable. May Ball tickets almost always cost over $100 which I think to be extortionate.
