- Master of Arts in Design at the University of The West of England is a 1-year program.
- It is an on-campus program offered on both a full-time and a part-time basis.
- The course is delivered through a series of project-based modules 'Make', 'Play', and 'Live', through which students will engage with real-world problems and issues of relevance to contemporary design practice and work towards the production of a physical object.
- The course attracts a diverse range of practicing designers, makers, and industry professionals from a range of disciplines, including but not exclusively: Fashion Design, Product Design, Fine Art, Graphic Arts, Jewellery Design, Interior Design and Ceramics, and equally broad-ranging staff backgrounds in Fine Art, Textiles, Interior Design, and Graphic Art.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students have to complete an undergraduate degree in either art or design from a recognized university.
- Highly motivated, creative students from a range of academic and professional practice backgrounds are eligible to apply.
- Applicants with interests in design thinking, critical making, and contemporary craft practice can also apply for the program.
Indian Students Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Students have to complete a 4-year undergraduate degree in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
- Students must complete a Higher Secondary School Certificate/Indian School Certificate – Standard XII from CBSE/CISCE/WBCHSEB: English Language with 70%. This qualification must have been completed within the last three years.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
