There are different rooms available at a reasonable rate, depending on when you book it.

Chose Cranfield since it offered an internship program after the end of the taught program and the fact that the Masters dissertation had to be based on the internship learning.

I live in a shared house with each of us having our own room and this has been my best experience ever. Even though there is accommodation available which is en-suite, living with people from other countries is an experience one shouldn't miss out on. An average living expense of 9,500 GBP is required for visa purposes, but an average rent of around 400-500 GBP per month can be expected, and this generally included facilities like wifi, gas, electricity

I chose Cranfield due to its industry connections, reputation in the Engineering community, and practical-based learning rather than theoretical, and so far I have not been disappointed.

The university has on-campus accommodations of all types and price ranges, but they are taken up pretty quickly, so apply early. I was staying in Cranfield village.

Due to industrial tie-ups and computing infrastructure of universities.

I lived on campus. There are various types of accommodations - various types of residential halls (catered and self - catered) that have shared kitchens and separate rooms (with or without shared bathrooms) and shared houses. I lived in a residential hall that had flats with 7 en-suite rooms ( that have private washrooms) and one shared kitchen (big enough for 7 people to cook comfortably and has 2 bug refrigerators, a microwave oven and all necessary gadgets and cutlery (including cooking utensils). I paid about £145 per week.

The primary reason I chose the university was its legacy in the field of aerospace. Being an aerospace engineer, I wanted to apply to this university whose aerospace school is 75+ years old. The research done by the university and the curriculum offered was the other main reason behind my choice. The course I have applied for a course that aims at training the students through practical courses instead of just teaching theory. The industrial linkage of the university was another reason.

I lived in a shared accommodation in Milton Keynes and shared the house with three students and 2 working professionals each person with a room to himself/herself. The Living room and kitchen were shared between us. Thankfully most of my housemates were very understanding and peaceful. My landlady was absolutely amazing and a very considerate lady. My monthly rent was GBP 575 for an ensuite room. The condition of the room was very good, the bedding, towels, cleaning supplies, kitchen pots and pans were all provided by the landlady.

1. Good ranking on the league tables - QS and FT 2. Course structure 3. Proximity to London (to be able to attend networking events comfortably and in case of job interviews)

Accommodation is all on campus and within walking distance from all departments. Accommodation is usually shared but I have no figures to quote as I lived home due to covid.

It is one of the best in the UK and the world for aerospace manufacturing and other engineering subjects as well as management.

I chose to live in campus, in chiller hall. the infrastructure is quite new.

Cranfield University pays more attention to practical training, and this is reflected in their characteristic module design in the course, Group Design Project etc. Cranfield University has a strong connection with industry which also can help students to build a successful career with confidence.

I lived in a shared house with co-student and we split the rent and all the bills between ourselves. 750 GPB pm. So after splitting it comes up to 437.5 rent + 100 pounds of bills. Living expenses in the town of Swindon comes upto 650 -700 GBP pm. In Shrivenham it may go up to 800. But easily manageable within £750

One of the best in the world in the selected field. They have the best laboratory facilities and faculty who are industry leaders with many years of professional experience.
