I chose Cranfield due to its industry connections, reputation in the Engineering community, and practical-based learning rather than theoretical, and so far I have not been disappointed.
Course Curriculum
Courses in Cranfield are up to date and the structure is shuffled regularly. During our lectures, people from various industries were invited to give us an idea about how the theoretical aspects fit into a real-world scenario. The course though extremely intensive is stimulating and enjoyable.
Exams
University requires an IELTS score of 6.5 and admission is provided based on a Statement of Purpose, I had an IELTS band score of 8.
Placement
Since I am still pursuing my master's it is hard to comment on how the placement is, but from alumni who have studied here before and general consensus, a Cranfield university student has better odds of getting placed in a good company with a handsome salary.

Events
There are enough clubs and it is not hard to set up a new club, Covid has of course hindered a lot of these experiences but the university has tried its best to host events safely without affecting our safety and to give us an enjoyable experience during our stay here. the campus is away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and accommodation facilities are good with both on-campus and off-campus options available

21,500 GBP is the program fee.
Scholarship
I was a bit late to apply for the scholarship, but scholarships are available on the university website and are not a part of the application procedure. It is to be applied for separately.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is pretty good since this is a master's and Ph.D.-only university, Professors come to know the students personally over the duration of the course, they are all well-versed in their subjects and many of them are pioneers in their field. It is hard to mention just one professor who has left an impact, but our course director John Patsavellas is someone to look up to. He has had ample experience in both academics and professional fields and his way of delivering lectures is second to none.
Hostel
I live in a shared house with each of us having our own room and this has been my best experience ever. Even though there is accommodation available which is en-suite, living with people from other countries is an experience one shouldn't miss out on. An average living expense of 9,500 GBP is required for visa purposes, but an average rent of around 400-500 GBP per month can be expected, and this generally included facilities like wifi, gas, electricity
