Course curriculum is good and faculty is great overall. But like all Masters programs in Data Science currently, they tend to scratch the surface and not go in depth. Plus since it's a year long and not 2 years unlike the US and Canada, things can get hectic. But there are great opportunities in the field and a huge shortage for DS professionals. My advice: do projects on your own. Don't just depend on your degree. Employers want to see initiative and how well rounded you are as a person. Work experience can really help as well.

Fees

Approx 35000 GBP. Scholarships in UK are not easy to get. But you can look online.

The course curriculum provided by University of Bath is excellent. The course includes all major topic in Data Science like Data preprocessing, Machine learning, Statistics, Deep learning, Bayesian Machine learning and reinforcement learning. All these modules are up to date for industrial exposure and the assignments provided by the faculties will help real time problems in industry. There are plenty of research opportunities as well. Assignments are designed such a way that it will allow you to do lots of research, learn new things and prepare you for doing dissteration.

Fees

I have 2 years of course. The tuition fees for first year was £23,100 in 2020 and for second year, it was £6,352 in 2021. Note that fees increases 5% per year.

The course curriculum is good, and competition in the course is healthy.

I wished to study abroad and previously I visited this university once so I wished to study here.

The course module was extremely relevant in todays business world. As they say - entrepreneurship cannot be taught, but learned by experience. But the course and the faculty had made sure too give us the best blend of academics with practical learning. The modules taught in the second term including Opportunity Generation , Assessment and Development ; Entrepreneurial Finance and Research Methods gave us the tools required to properly formulate and draft a business plan for any proposed venture.

The course modules were really interesting to me, especially since I had done similar subjects in my under graduation. With relevant topics in todays day and age , it was a step up from what I had learned and how I have to apply it in my work life as I begin working in my family business and look for new opportunities as and how I take over the business. In a post-covid world having these techniques to think and look at opportunities in different ways will help stand out from the crowd.

I believe in terms of course content the University is great as all the modules are interesting and are linked to real life applications. We also have practice track option which gives an upper edge since we can apply all our learning’s into practical experience.

University of Bath ranked 2nd in the uk for management courses. I personally selected bath for the course as the course is very diverse and to gain perspective internationally. Modules like cross cultural management, international strategy management, global business are really helpful for long run. Moreover, the main reason I chose Msc international is because of the practice track option as we get to work with companies for some practical experience.

The course that I pursued was a relatively new course; around 5 years old. I had already studied a lot of it in my undergrad so some things were repeated but the way they assess you is very different from the Indian assessment style. The UK has a very traditional way of teaching, few young faculty try to be different but the older ones are following their traditional approach.

I chose to pursue my course at University of Bath as I had a prior learning experience from them when I attended their Winter school. I always wanted to pursue my Masters from this University because of their prestigious ranking and the location of the city. There are many Indians so you don't feel away from home at any given point. Their teaching was supposed to be one of the best in the UK and the opportunities you get once you graduate from Uni of Bath is wonderfull.

I feel like the course I am currently pursuing is a mixture of all the relevant knowledge one should have while studying management. There are exciting individual and group tasks that are there for better exposure. I have been able to experience so many real-life work situations as part of my course.

Really good, lots of interesting science and good mix of lectures, workshops, labs and placement opportunities but very high in content and contact hours making it very full on tiring and more draining than any of my flat mates courses.

Fees

University tuition fees- student finance coverage, pay in instalment plans or all in one go is also possible. First year accommodation is taken over 3 payments
