- The Journalism course recognizes the value of developing relevant skills throughout the studies with a particular focus on enhancing the ability to adapt to ever-changing environments within a fast-moving industry.
- In addition to a high level of professionalism, we also place an emphasis on developing key transferable skills such as written and oral communication, and digital and technical knowledge.
- Year 1 focuses on developing students as a practitioner. They will create news, engage in journalistic activities, and study news theory.
- In Year 2, there is an increased emphasis on initiative and creativity. They will engage with deeper discussions and more specialized production techniques.
- In Year 3, students will take a more holistic approach to practice and theory, with an overarching focus on developing more specialized journalism skills.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students are required to submit their higher school transcripts.
- Students are required to have a Diploma, to include 45 credits at level 3, 30 of which must be at Merit.
Indian Eligibility:
- Senior Secondary School Certificate/Higher Secondary School Certificate awarded on completion of Standard XII with an overall grade of 60% or above (and 60% in a specific subject, if required) from the following boards:
- Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)
- Council for Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE)
- International General Certificate of Secondary Education ( IGCSE)
- National Institute of Open School
- Senior Secondary School Certificate/Higher Secondary School Certificate awarded on completion of Standard XII with an overall grade of 65% or above (and 65% in a specific subject, if required) from the following boards:
- Punjab
- Haryana
- Uttar Pradesh
- Bihar
- Chhattisgarh
- Gujarat
- Jharkhand
- Rajasthan
- Uttarkhand
- 3 Year Diploma (from a State Board of Technical Education) with an overall grade of 60% or above.
Non- Native Students are required to submit their English Proficiency Scores.
